Dominik is an Instructor in the Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (Ohio State University) and two M.S. degrees from the Ohio State University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, respectively. He has been actively involved in clinical image analysis for the past ten years, including work at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dominik is performing research on structural and physiological brain MRI in multiple sclerosis. The main goal is to develop new tools to enhance the specificity of MRI as surrogate marker for studying disease progression and therapy evaluation. Specific projects include serial and dynamic MRI for selective analysis of lesions and normal appearing white matter in multiple sclerosis and advanced morphometric analysis of brain anatomy in neurodegenerative diseases.
